In its efforts to provide children with fun, safe places to play, HHA has begun a multi-year campaign to replace playgrounds that need upgrading. The first phase was completed with the installation of new playgrounds at Forest Green and Irvinton Village.

Partner Portal & Direct Deposit

Our new Partner Portal and Direct Deposit for Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) is live now! Partner Portal is your secure, web-based access to unit account information available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  You can access your personal profile, payment detail information, inspection results, family re-examinations and 1099s. Annual charges for Partner Portal will be deducted from your HAP Payment on December 1 each year. Click here for more information.

Effective December 1, 2013, Houston Housing Authority will no longer issue paper checks. Your HAP payments will be deposited directly into your bank account or via debit card. If you are interested in direct deposit, click here to download the required forms and for more information.

Public Housing Application

The federally funded Low-Rent Public Housing Program provides quality, affordable rental housing for families, seniors, and persons with disabilities at developments that are owned and managed by the Housing Authority. The agency owns and manages 25 public housing and tax credit developments around the city. Click here to learn more and to download an application for public housing.
